The school year has started in Quang Tri, and your donations to this project have funded 214 scholarships so far! On behalf of all of us at PeaceTrees Vietnam, thank you for your generosity and commitment to the children and families in Quang Tri province, Vietnam. In a region still confronted with the legacy of war, education can be the tool to lift these communities out of poverty and create a brighter future. Thank you for being a part of this critical work.
We are still working to reach our project goal of $15,000 and we know that we can get there with your help. Raising $4,300 in additional scholarship funding will mean 86 additional scholarships for kids whose lives and communities are impacted by the presence of the explosive remnants of war.
When families can’t be confident in the safety of their farmland, not knowing if grenades or cluster bombs are sitting just under the top layer of soil in their rice paddies, their ability to fund their child’s education all but vanishes. As our dedicated demining teams keep working to clear the land of unexploded ordnance, we hope that you will continue to stand with these families by providing educational opportunity for their children. For just $50, you can provide a primary school student with a uniform, books and supplies, and pay their school fees for one year.
Let’s join together and send 86 more kids to school this year!
Kind Regards,
PeaceTrees Vietnam
