Over 10 million school age children in Nigeria are out of school, with many suffering from hunger that blocks learning. In our communities, 7 out of 10 children come to school without eating breakfast. Malnutrition causes poor concentration and high absenteeism. This project will provide daily nutritious meals to 500 deprived children for one full school year. Regular meals improve health, increase classroom focus, and boost school attendance by over 60%.
Many children in Nigeria miss school because their families cannot afford food or fees. Hunger makes learning impossible. Children who do attend often come to class weak and unable to concentrate. Without regular meals and education, these children are left on the streets, facing risks and an uncertain future. Their potential is lost to empty stomachs.
This project will create a school feeding program. We will serve one nutritious meal each school day to 500 children. This reliable food gives parents a strong reason to send their children to school every day. With better nutrition, children can pay attention in class, participate in activities, and gain the skills they need to build a better life for themselves.
Well fed children become healthier, educated adults. This project helps break the cycle of poverty. Children who stay in school learn life skills and avoid dangerous street life. They grow into capable community members who can support themselves and their future families. Investing in their meals today builds a stronger, more peaceful society for tomorrow.
