As part of humanitarian efforts to support vulnerable families during the holy month of Ramadan, Saed Organization implemented a food basket distribution campaign targeting families living in Al-Amyan Billah camps. A total of 210 families benefited from this humanitarian initiative, which aimed to support households facing difficult living conditions due to ongoing economic and humanitarian challenges.
This initiative was launched in response to the increasing needs of families living in displacement camps, especially during Ramadan, when the demand for food and essential supplies rises significantly. The campaign aimed to reduce the financial burden on vulnerable families and help them secure basic food items required for preparing daily iftar and suhoor meals throughout the holy month.
Each food basket included a variety of essential food items commonly used during Ramadan, such as rice, bulgur, sugar, vegetable oil, pasta, lentils, and dates, in addition to other basic food supplies. These items were carefully selected to ensure that the baskets could meet the basic nutritional needs of beneficiary families during the month.
The distribution process was carried out according to a well-organized plan to ensure that assistance reached the intended beneficiaries in a fair and transparent manner. Staff members and volunteers coordinated the distribution inside the camps, ensuring that the process was conducted smoothly while maintaining the dignity and respect of all beneficiaries.
Many of the beneficiary families expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which brought relief and a sense of comfort during the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign also highlighted the importance of humanitarian solidarity and charitable work in supporting affected communities and improving their living conditions.
Saed Organization reaffirms its commitment to continuing humanitarian and relief activities aimed at supporting vulnerable families and alleviating their suffering, particularly in displacement settings. The organization also seeks to expand its humanitarian interventions through cooperation with partners and donors to reach a larger number of families in need.
