Dear Donors,
Thank you for caring about children and families facing hunger in Northern Nigeria.
A crisis can last for months or even years, but a child still needs to eat every day.
Children cannot wait for insecurity to end before they need food.
They cannot wait for their parents to find work before they need medical care.
They cannot wait for farms to become safe before they need clean water.
Across Northern Nigeria, conflict, bandit attacks, displacement and rising food prices have made life harder for many families. Farmers who once grew food for their households may no longer be able to safely reach their land.
For displaced families, losing a home can also mean losing the income and food sources that kept the family going.
When food becomes scarce, children are among the first to suffer.
This project will provide food assistance to vulnerable and displaced families, including rice, beans and other staple foods. It will also support mobile healthcare, medical screening, free medicines and access to clean drinking water.
The goal is simple: help families get through the days when they have nowhere else to turn.
A child deserves a full plate, clean water and the chance to grow healthy.
Thank you for helping us stand with families who are struggling to provide these basic needs.
Please share this project so more people can learn about the families facing hunger.
With gratitude,
Khalid Abubakar
