Dear Donors,
Thank you for remembering families facing hunger in Northern Nigeria.
An empty plate can tell the story of a family that has lost almost everything.
It can mean a farmer who can no longer reach his farmland.
It can mean a mother who has fled her home with her children.
It can mean an older person who no longer has family income to depend on.
It can mean a child who has gone to bed hungry because there was not enough food for everyone.
Conflict, bandit attacks, displacement and rising food prices have placed enormous pressure on families across Northern Nigeria.
Many displaced families are living far from their farms and communities. Without land, work or stable income, finding enough food can become a daily battle.
That is why this project focuses on more than food alone.
Clarion Times Foundation plans to provide rice, beans and other staple foods, while also supporting mobile healthcare, medical screening, free medicines and clean drinking water.
A family needs food to survive.
It also needs clean water and medical care to stay healthy.
We want to stand with families who are facing these needs and help them through a period they never expected to experience.
No family should be forgotten simply because crisis has forced them from home.
Thank you for caring.
Please share this project with others who may wish to help feed a hungry family in Nigeria.
With gratitude,
Khalid Abubakar
