Dear Donors,
Thank you for standing with families affected by hunger and displacement in Northern Nigeria.
One of the hardest parts of this crisis is that many families were once able to feed themselves.
They had farms.
They raised livestock.
They ran small businesses.
They worked and provided for their children.
Then insecurity changed everything.
Some farmers can no longer reach their land safely. Some families have been forced to leave their communities. Others have lost their homes, businesses or sources of income.
A family that once produced food may now have to depend on food assistance.
For parents, that change can be painful.
They want to work.
They want to provide.
They want their children to eat well.
But when there is no safe farm to return to and no income to depend on, even buying basic food can become difficult.
Through this project, Clarion Times Foundation plans to provide rice, beans and other staple foods to families facing hunger. We also plan to provide healthcare services, medical screening, free medicines and clean drinking water.
Special consideration will be given to families with young children, widows, older people and people with disabilities.
These families do not need pity. They need food, care and the chance to get through this crisis.
Thank you for remembering them.
If you cannot donate, please share this project with your network. Your share may help connect a family in need with someone who can help.
With gratitude,
Khalid Abubakar
