Families Displaced by Crisis Need Food Now

Dear Donors,

Thank you for caring about Nigerian families who have been forced from their homes by violence and insecurity.

For families living in displacement, hunger does not wait. Parents wake up not knowing where the next meal will come from. Children may go through the day without enough food. Older people who have lost their homes and livelihoods face the same uncertainty.

As of July 2026, more than 3.7 million people were internally displaced across Nigeria. Benue alone is home to at least 500,000 displaced people, while communities in Borno, Plateau, Kaduna, Zamfara and other states continue to face displacement and insecurity.

Behind these numbers are real families who have lost farms, homes, businesses and belongings.

Some are living in makeshift shelters, under trees or in other unsafe places. They need food, a safe place to sleep and basic household supplies.

Through this project, Clarion Times Foundation plans to provide emergency food and household items to displaced families. Families will receive food supplies and charcoal stoves for preparing meals. Temporary shelter support will also be provided to families who have nowhere safe to sleep.

Children, women and older people will receive special consideration during the distribution of assistance.

Your support can help a parent put food on the table tonight. It can help a child have a meal after days of uncertainty. It can give a displaced family a safer place to sleep while they work toward rebuilding their lives.

Thank you for standing with families who have lost so much. Your support gives them a reason to keep going.

Please consider sharing this project with someone who may be able to help. Every donation and every share can help us reach more families facing hunger.

With gratitude,
Elijah
