Dear Donors,
Thank you for caring about children and families displaced by violence in Nigeria.
When adults lose their homes and livelihoods, children feel the loss too.
A child who once had a bed may now sleep on the ground.
A child who once ate regular meals may now depend on whatever food the family can find.
A child who once went to school may now spend the day in a temporary settlement.
This is the reality for many children living with displacement across Nigeria.
More than 3.7 million people were internally displaced as of July 2026. Families in Benue, Borno, Plateau, Kaduna, Zamfara and other states continue to face the effects of insecurity.
For parents, providing food is one of the hardest challenges.
Many have lost access to their farms and sources of income. Some are sleeping with their children in makeshift shelters.
This project will provide emergency food, cooking supplies and temporary shelter to displaced families.
As conditions improve, the project also plans to support extra lessons for displaced children who have missed school, helping them catch up with their studies.
A child should not lose the chance to learn simply because violence forced their family from home.
Thank you for helping us stand with these children and their families.
Please share this project so more people can learn about their situation.
With gratitude,
Elijah Osagie
