Expanding Impact: New Horizons

By Juan Antonio Llergo Sanchez | Program Coordinator at BAMX Puebla

Dear friend of our Food Bank "Banco de Alimentos Caritas Puebla",

Over the past months, we have strengthened our fight against hunger and malnutrition in Puebla and Tlaxcala, ensuring that thousands of vulnerable families receive the food support they desperately need. Thanks to the generosity of our allies and donors, together we continue to transform lives, not just through food security, but also through nutritional education and economic self-sufficiency programs.

Impact at a Glance

Every week, Banco de Alimentos Cáritas Puebla has provided food assistance to more than 160,000 people, including:

  • 62,000+ adults
  • 49,000+ children
  • 22,000+ families
  • 17,000+ seniors

Through our project, Ruta de la Caridad (Charity Route), we reach those in extreme vulnerability—elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and families in severe poverty—delivering food packages directly to their homes.

Welcoming Roy Mata as Our First Goodwill Ambassador

This quarter, we launched our Goodwill Ambassador Program, appointing Roy Mata as our first ambassador. Roy is a Mexican paramedic, content creator, and speaker, widely recognized for his strong presence on social media, where he teaches people how to act in emergency situations..

With a dedicated community of followers, Roy has used his platform to promote causes that generate real change, encouraging his audience to take action and support initiatives that benefit those most in need. His appointment as our Goodwill Ambassador marks the beginning of a new phase for Banco de Alimentos Cáritas Puebla, where influential voices can help amplify our impact and mobilize even more people towards the fight against hunger and malnutrition.

Through this collaboration, Roy Mata will play a key role in raising awareness, engaging new allies, and fostering a greater sense of solidarity with the families we serve. Stay tuned!

A Call to Action

With your continued support, we can make even greater strides in ensuring that no family goes hungry. Join us in spreading awareness, supporting our programs, and making a lasting difference.

In supporting even more people facing hunger, we would love it if you could tell your friends and family about our cause. You may also visit us on X @BAMXPuebla and Instagram @bamxpuebla to interact with us and see the impact that we're making together. Every fresh connection we make is an opportunity to change lives, and we feel lucky to have you aboard on the ride!

With heartfelt thanks,

The Families and Team of Banco de Alimentos Caritas Puebla
