Many Women Cannot Afford Fertility Treatment

By Joy Ojochogwu Etubi | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you for supporting the Fertility Cups for Women Trying to Conceive project. We sincerely appreciate your generosity and concern for women facing fertility challenges in low-resource communities.

For many women, the inability to conceive brings emotional distress, social pressure, and feelings of isolation. In numerous low-income communities, access to fertility services, reproductive health counseling, and supportive tools remains limited. Many women cannot afford specialist consultations or fertility treatments and continue trying to conceive without guidance or assistance.

We are grateful for the donations received so far. However, the funds currently available are not sufficient to begin implementation of the project. Additional support is needed before procurement, packaging, educational materials production, beneficiary identification, and distribution activities can commence.

This project aims to provide 500 women with reusable conception cups and educational materials on fertility awareness and cycle tracking. The cups will be distributed through health workers and community networks, along with simple instructions designed to help women understand proper use and basic reproductive health information.

Access to affordable fertility support tools can help women better understand their reproductive health and may improve their chances of conception. The educational component of the project will also encourage participants to seek medical advice when needed and improve awareness of factors that affect fertility.

We remain committed to implementing this project and continue working toward the resources needed to launch the first phase. As progress is made, we look forward to sharing updates, photographs, and stories from the women who will benefit from this support.

Thank you for helping provide hope and reproductive health support to women seeking to build their families.

Warm regards,

Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
