In many low-income communities, women trying to conceive face barriers to fertility care due to cost, access, and lack of information. This project will distribute 500 reusable conception cups to women who have tried without success to get pregnant. These cups improve the chances of conception by holding semen near the cervix longer. Donations will fund the purchase, packaging, and delivery of the cups, along with printed guides for safe use.
Many women in low-resource settings face delayed conception but cannot afford fertility testing or treatment. They often suffer stigma and pressure without access to simple tools or guidance. Clinics are far, and most low-cost aids like conception cups are not available locally. As a result, women keep trying without support, facing emotional stress and isolation.
This project will provide 500 women with reusable conception cups and simple guides on how to use them. These cups are designed to help sperm stay closer to the cervix after intercourse, increasing the chance of pregnancy. The cups will be distributed through health workers and local women's groups. Each woman will also receive a printed guide on tracking cycles.
Access to safe fertility tools can improve a woman's chance of getting pregnant and reduce the stress that comes with trying for long periods. This project may lead to more pregnancies and better reproductive health awareness. It may also encourage more women to seek health advice early. In time, this simple tool can help reduce social pressure and isolation for those facing fertility challenges.
