Many Malawians live in poverty. This poverty have been exacerbated by HIV/AIDS and other illnesses which have left many orphans and other children in chinseu community need extra nutricious food so they can grow well hence chinseu realises that the children are frequently got sick with different diseases and have recorded a stunted body growth among the children. Hence chinseu CBO introduces a free child inspection through chinseu community health services.
The selective death of young adults in Malawi means an increase in orphanhood due to the HIV/AIDS Pandemic hence the children live in extreme poverty and can not afford to buy nutritious food as they are expensive to buy, our challenge is to help provide enough care and support to these most vulnerable groups ( malnourished children ) to eat nutritious foodstuffs.
This project provides community based screaming of children growth. The project will help the families that are trying to take care of the affected children that there will be low registration of children patients in their families. The children will fully attending their education and there will be good returns on there after progress at school.
Based on these findings it is recommended that chinseu cbo should continue replicating activities and extends to child growth inspection through our community health services and Ruth Mlangali is a Health Surveillance Assistance at Blantyre District Health Office and she is working with chinseu cbo. The good partnership that chinseu gave with the health office will help this project sustains as many health consultations, facilitation from professional officers will be offered free of charge.
