Dear friends,
Christmas conjures up nostalgic feelings of warmth, peace and special moments shared with loved ones. It is a special time of year to celebrate with family and share with those less fortunate than ourselves. For children who grow up in a home where one or both parents are alcoholics, often times the holidays are no celebration at all. It is a time when they are reminded of their feelings of shame, disappointment and anger. Blue Cross volunteers and staff around the world work with the children and families they serve to make sure that the holidays is a special time that can be celebrated. They organized baking sessions, decorating and special outings for the children to enjoy the magic of the season!
We thank you for your continued support, especially during this time of year, and wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2015!
Kind regards,
Your friends at the International Blue Cross
