On January 4th, 2023 as part of flood relief campaign, NUR Foundation in collaboration with Family Med. Dept at Fatima Memorial Hospital conducted Health camp at Gatti Kalanger, Kasur (after conducting the need assessment led by Ms. Director, NUR Community Outreach Program (NCOP) - Shazia Iqbal and Manager Finance, NUR Foundation,Mr. Khizer Hayat).
Gatti Kalanger is located in the outskirts of Kasur. Kasur is the 16th largest city in Punjab and 24th largest in Pakistan, by population.It is farther west of the border with neighboring India, and bordered to Lahore, Sheikhupura and Okara Districts of Punjab.The population of Kasur is 382,000 as of 2020.Kasur had a sex ratio of 931 females per 1000 males and a literacy rate of 60.77% - 67.54% for males and 53.45% for females.
Through the medical camp conducted by NUR Foundation at Fatima Memorial Hospital, more than 500 individuals were provided free consultations and prescribed medicines.
We are thankful to Family Med. Dept (medical staff), NCOP (management), Nursing dept. (FMH), NCRP/NF(logistics and management), Marketing dept (design work and print material), Finance dept and transport dept for their extensive support. Locals were overwhelmed with the contributions of Fatima Memorial Hospital for rebuilding their lives.
