The inhabitants of the Tocaimita neighborhood, in the south of Bogotá, have a low capacity to access horticultural and fruit products that results in their food insecurity, in addition, their scarce supply leads to high prices and low quality.

In the same way, a serious problem has been found and it is the lack of training for the community to establish their own production systems.

Due to the above, PSF has implemented a cycle of five workshops on food systems using principles of agroecology that will strengthen community work, soil regeneration and the achievement of quality products.

In January, the cycle closing workshop was held, which focused on understanding the difference between safety, sustainability and food sustainability, knowing the importance of seeds and starting a germination process.

The sowing process of the second syntropic line continued through the collaborative, implementing the principles of regenerative agriculture. The community participated in this activity, especially indigenous children.

This closure not only focused on the development of skills, second-hand clothing was also delivered to those interested, a community lunch was prepared for about 150 people with the help of volunteers, and a circus and juggling show was held that allowed the children to get out of the routine and enjoy a pleasant afternoon
