Little by Little Matching Campaign 3-7th April

By Dom Williams | Founder and Director

Daily fruit
Daily fruit

With a quarter of the year already gone we are making great strides towards our main goals this year, one of which is making sure the children are fed on a daily basis. Our investment into Sustainable Income Plans is atop of our agenda for 2017 which not only provide income for the schools though also provide extra income for the local families with which they can buy food when times are extremly hard due to failing crops. One of our plans, Plan Huerto, aims to provide fully functionning vegetable gardens for the families and also fruit trees which will provide fruit for years to come. In a bid to raise these funds the third Phoenix Seven Continent Charity Challenge got underway in Guatemala on 22nd March, summiting Volcano Tajumulco, the highest point in Central America. There are many events already planned during 2017 as part of the Challenge so if you would like to undertake a fundraiser using this page, please do contact us on the link below.

As a bonus, Global Giving will be running its Little by Little Matching Campaign from 3rd to 7th April, designed to celebrate the power of small donations and the power of the crowd. Global Giving will be matching donations up to $50 at 50% while the $50,000 in matching funds remain and there are also bonus prizes and incentives to grow our list of monthly donors! To take advantage of this, if you can donate no matter how small, you can do so directly onto this page early on 3rd April with all proceeds going towards sustainable plans in Guatemala which will benefit the local families as part of this year’s Seven Continent Charity Challenge. Thank you so much in advance.
