Your help makes the difference

By Marion Muck | 1st chairwoman

The situation on the ground has not improved significantly in recent months—on the contrary: for many people, conditions are growing increasingly dire. Ongoing airstrikes on villages and even on camps for internally displaced persons (IDP camps) are forcing more and more families to flee. This often takes place under extremely dangerous conditions and without adequate preparation.
For those affected, this means a further dramatic deterioration in their living conditions. Children, the elderly, the sick, and people with disabilities are particularly suffering from the acute shortage of food. At the same time, access to clean water and medical care has become even more difficult due to the heavily strained and partially destroyed infrastructure.
Despite these challenging conditions, we have been able to continue providing targeted aid thanks to your support. Refugee families as well as institutions such as schools and kindergartens have been supplied with food to ensure at least basic provisions.
Our dedicated team on the ground plays a crucial role in this effort. They organize distributions, respond flexibly to new waves of displacement, and keep us continuously informed about the rapidly changing situation in Kayah State.
Every donation counts. Every donation helps save lives. Every donation brings hope where it is urgently needed.
Please don’t leave the people of Kayah State on their own.
Together, we can continue to help—but only with your support. THANKS!
