Help is becoming increasingly important

By Marion Muck | 1st chairwoman

Supplying the people is becoming increasingly difficult, as even our project managers have to keep changing their location for security reasons.
However, we are still managing to get our donations into the country in a roundabout way and pass them on to our employees.
We are also still able to provide many people, especially children, with basic necessities.
More and more people are being forced to flee their own country. The military is not even stopping at schools. Children are being seriously injured and repeatedly killed by air strikes. More and more people are fleeing within their own country.
Organizing food or medicine is becoming more difficult, as many of the access roads to these remote areas are controlled by the military. In many cases, transportation is not possible on public roads and is transported via mountain paths.
Our work for the local people is becoming increasingly important. More and more people are living from hand to mouth and do not have enough to eat. They are dependent on help.
In our 5 kindergartens in the mountains of Kayah State, almost 120 children have found a sheltered place where they can simply be children in these difficult times. A place where there is still enough to eat. A place to play and be happy.

Thanks to all the donors who continue to support us. Despite all the catastrophes worldwide. Because without financial donations, we would not be able to continue our work on the ground.
