Vancouver has over 2000 people who experience extreme poverty and most call the Downtown Eastside their home. La Boussole (non-profit organization located in this neighborhood) organizes a weekly food bank providing food for those in need. In 2018, La Boussole's food bank moved into the Ember's Eastside works office space, which is located in the Downtown Eastside. Each food bank we provide a complete food package for over 50 people. End hunger and improve nutrition for people who live in extreme poverty in Vancouver. In few years, Vancouver will be the greenest city of the world.
