The Mustard Seed Mission (MSM) runs LoveLife Centre - regional centers, warehouses, and logistics teams across Taiwan - powered by the CARE Platform, a digital system letting families choose their own monthly essentials. In 2025, LoveLife Centre served 3,577 households through 24,431 orders, delivering 208,826 kg of goods at a 96.1% point utilization rate. Its Warm Meal Box program adds ready-to-heat meals, made by former recipients now employed by MSM.
Taiwan is one of Asia's most developed economies, yet over 529,000 people live in certified economic vulnerability, and 244,000 households fall below the poverty threshold - a 7.57% relative poverty rate. Many earn just above the assistance threshold, disqualified from aid but unable to absorb rising costs. For these "borderline poor" families, insecurity extends beyond food to hygiene, cleaning, and school supplies - needs traditional food banks were never built to address.
LoveLife Centre runs regional centers, warehouses, and a logistics network across Taipei, Tainan, Hualien, and Taitung. Its CARE Platform lets families log in monthly and choose exactly what they need - no application, no case review, no stigma - while on-the-ground teams pack and deliver each order. The Warm Meal Box program adds ready-to-heat meals, prepared by community members once supported by MSM. Together, this addresses SDGs 1 (No Poverty), 2 (Zero Hunger), and 3 (Good Health).
LoveLife Centre is scalable social infrastructure, not just a monthly service. When the 2025 Chiayi-Tainan earthquake struck, the same teams and warehouses reached 999 households with emergency goods, appliances, and home repairs. When Typhoon Ragasa hit, LoveLife Centre delivered 10,900 hot meals to affected families. As enrollment grows, MSM builds both self-sufficiency and disaster-response capacity - without rebuilding distribution infrastructure each time Taiwan faces a crisis.
