Food Baskets for Displaced Families

As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support displaced and vulnerable families, Saed Charity carried out a food basket distribution project in Al-Muhammadiyah Camp, benefiting 275 needy families.

This initiative comes in response to the dire humanitarian conditions faced by camp residents, most of whom suffer from limited resources and a lack of basic necessities for a dignified life. The distributed baskets included essential food items such as rice, flour, sugar, oil, legumes, canned goods, and other key supplies that help families meet their daily nutritional needs.

The project was warmly welcomed by the families, who expressed their gratitude for this much-needed assistance. For many, these baskets provided not only food but also relief, dignity, and a renewed sense of hope during difficult times. Field distribution teams emphasized that this project is part of a broader series of continuous relief programs designed to support the most vulnerable and help them endure harsh living conditions.

In response, our teams carried out a food basket distribution project, reaching hundreds of displaced families in the camp. Each basket contained essential items such as flour, rice, sugar, oil, lentils, and other staples that allow families to endure and face hunger with dignity.

The scenes were deeply moving: children’s faces lit up with pure smiles at the sight of food bags, while mothers expressed heartfelt gratitude after struggling for so long to provide even a simple meal. For them, these baskets were not just food—they were a message of hope and reassurance that they are not forgotten.
