The urgency of our situation cannot be overstated; the well-being of the dogs and cats cared for by Marius is at risk due to an alarming lack of food resources.
Since 2017, Romania Animal Rescue has been a steadfast ally in the fight against starvation and suffering, providing essential support to Marius and the animals he cares for.
Our commitment began when Nancy Janes was informed by Dr. Aurelian Stefan about the alarming condition of these animals as they arrived for veterinary treatment to Center of Hope hospital. While Marius cared for them as best he could, there simply was not enough food.
However, we now find ourselves in a dire predicament, with donations dwindling to virtually nothing for their food supply. Marius has 400 dogs and cats, and we provide approximately half of the food for them, meaning we need to feed 200 a month. 22 pounds of food, costing $10, can sustain 10 - 15 animals for a day—but this amount fluctuates with the seasons, especially during harsh winters when their needs increase.
We urgently need your help to ensure that we can continue to deliver this vital food source to Marius's animals.
Every contribution, no matter how small, can make an enormous difference in alleviating their suffering. Together, as a compassionate community, we can stand up for these voiceless creatures and provide them with the nourishment they desperately need.
