Food for Romanian Animals

Greetings Friends,

The cold wind and weather from Siberia makes its way to Romania....a brutal bone chilling cold that cuts deep.  This is especially true for the homeless animals and those like ourselves and Marius who try so desperately to provide meals for them.

We recently were contacted by another friend, Dominic, who needs food for 5 six week old puppies and a mama dog that he found abandoned near a busy intersection.  We were able to send him funds to purchase high quality food for them and are helping to search for a place for them to go to be safe.  This is happening all over Romania unfortunately.

Marius 400+ dogs and cats depend on us monthly for food, and we depend 100% on public donations to be able to continue to help.  This situation is something that we did not anticipate years ago while planning the focus of Romania Animal Rescue, so we never budgeted for shelter food for Marius shelter, however the need is simply too overwhelming for us to turn our backs on.

We plead with you to help us continue this gift of love for these animals, most rescued from indescribable conditions......having been tossed out to fend for themselves by heartless and cruel members of the human race, or born into terrible fates.  Marius and others like the mama and her 5 puppies needed us, and we were there for them.  Now, we need to ask for your help too.  Can you be there for us?

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Our dear friend Marius, who runs his own shelter at the factory grounds where he is employed, is in desperate need of food.  Marius has rescued these animals from hellish conditions.....from dumpsters when they were puppies and kittens, taken starving animals in, rescuing the sick and needy. Marius never turns his back on anyone.  We can't turn our back on them either.

Our donations for food this past year have been on average $40 per month. The true cost of food each month is 1000 Euros.

Unfortunately, in addition to lack of funding on our end, the cost of food has risen in Romania. I have discussed this with Marius, who is extremely worried about the situation, as are we. How can we stop helping him to feed his now 400+ dogs and cats?

I'm hoping with all my heart that you can donate to help sustain the food for Marius shelter. His animals deserve our help. Thank you, friends.
