Lebanon Food Relief 2025 Report 2

Meals made with love
Meals made with love

Dear Friends and Supporters,

My name is Maya Terro, and I am the co-founder and executive director of FoodBlessed.
It is with immense gratitude that I write this report to acknowledge every single donation—big and small—that this project has received since the launch of this fundraiser, and to celebrate the impact these contributions have created.

Thanks to your generosity and unwavering support, our team at FoodBlessed has been able to respond to the growing humanitarian needs caused by the ongoing crisis in Lebanon. We are humbled to share a snapshot of what we’ve accomplished together over the past few months.

What We’ve Accomplished

In the past 9 months, your donations have helped us provide life-saving food assistance in the form of wholesome, ready-to-eat meals for 495 displaced families in need across Beirut—many of whom have lost their homes and livelihoods due to conflict and insecurity.

Each meal represents more than nourishment—it is a reminder that someone, somewhere, still cares.

So far, we have raised $3,956 out of our $102,965 goal, thanks to 14 generous donors (including 2 monthly supporters) who believe in our mission. While the road ahead is long, your contributions are already making a tangible difference.

What’s Next

Moving forward, this campaign will continue to provide food relief in the form of life-saving meals to:

  • Families living in extreme poverty
  • Seniors with limited access to food due to age or mobility
  • Individuals with disabilities who face additional barriers to securing meals
  • People experiencing homelessness

To this end, we will change the name of the campaign to one that better reflects the new direction of this campaign from "FoodBlessed Lebanon Food Relief 2025" to "FoodBlessed Lebanon-Lifesaving Melas Year-Round".

Final Thoughts & How You Can Help

Thank you to everyone who has supported us during the very hard times Lebanon has endured over the past 9 months. But believe us when we say—the road ahead still looks bleak and our work is far from over. To this end, we remain committed to ensuring that no one is left behind—long after the crisis has passed.

If you would like to continue standing with those who need it most, please consider supporting this campaign. Every dollar you give is a gesture of hope, and we are deeply grateful for your trust. Whether through a one-time gift or ongoing monthly support, your impact is felt profoundly by the families we serve.

We’ll continue to share updates, stories, and photos along the way, so you can see the lives you are touching.

 Let’s Keep the Momentum Going!
If you’ve already donated—thank you. You can make an even greater impact by:

Every bit brings us closer to ensuring that no one in Beirut is left behind.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with us. Your support is changing lives, one meal at a time.

With gratitude,
Maya Terro
