Project Report | Jan 29, 2026
Lebanon Food Relief 2025 (Report 3)

By MAYA TERRO | Cofounder and Executive Director

Dear Friends and Supporters of FoodBlessed,

My name is Maya Terro, Co-Founder and Executive Director of FoodBlessed. I am writing this report with deep appreciation to recognize every contribution—large and small—made since the launch of this fundraiser, and to highlight the impact these generous donations have helped achieve.

Because of your continued support, this project has been able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most, and this report is a reflection of the collective compassion that made it possible.

What We’ve Accomplished

In the past 3 months, your donations have helped us provide life-saving food assistance in the form of wholesome, ready-to-eat meals for 803 displaced families in need across Beirut—many of whom have lost their homes and livelihoods due to conflict and insecurity.

Each meal represents more than nourishment—it is a reminder that someone, somewhere, still cares.

Over the past year, we have raised $6,430 out of our $102,965 goal, thanks to 27 generous donors (including 2 monthly supporters) who believe in our mission. We are still far from reaching our goal; however, your contributions—big and small—are already making a tangible difference. That's becasue, every dollar donated to this campaign goes directly to those in need, with no portion used for administrative or other expenses.

Who We’ve Helped

Because of your generosity, we were able to deliver life-saving meals to those who need them most, including:

  • Families living in extreme poverty
  • Seniors whose age limits their access to food
  • Individuals with disabilities who face additional barriers to securing meals

Final Thoughts & How You Can Help

Thank you to everyone who has supported us during the very hard times Lebanon has endured over the past year. But believe us when we say—the road ahead still looks bleak and our work is far from over. To this end, we remain committed to ensuring that no one is left behind—long after the crisis has passed.

If you would like to continue standing with those who need it most, please consider supporting this campaign. Every dollar you give is a gesture of hope, and we are deeply grateful for your trust. Whether through a one-time gift or ongoing monthly support, your impact is felt profoundly by the families we serve.

We’ll continue to share updates, stories, and photos along the way, so you can see the lives you are –touching.

 Let’s Keep the Momentum Going!

If you’ve already donated—thank you. You can make an even greater impact by:

Every bit brings us closer to ensuring that no one is left behind.

As I conclude this report, I’d also like to share that Ramadan is fast approaching. It would mean so much to us if you would consider supporting our annual Ramadan campaign, “Share Your Blessings.” Donation options include sponsoring a single meal, a family food parcel, or a large communal iftar.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with us. Your support is changing lives—one meal at a time. That’s it!

With gratitude,
Maya Terro
