Annual Progress Report – 2025 For a Better Nature: Plant Trees

Project Overview
The “For a Better Nature: Plant Trees” initiative is an environmental sustainability project aimed at promoting ecological balance and fostering environmental responsibility within local communities. Through tree plantation, the project seeks to improve air quality, provide natural shade, prevent soil erosion, and contribute to a healthier and greener environment for future generations.
This initiative also emphasizes community participation, particularly engaging youth and students to build long-term environmental awareness.
Progress Achieved ( 2025)
During the reporting period, the following key activities were successfully completed:
Conducted community awareness sessions on environmental protection in Sunsari and nearby villages
Engaged local schools, youth groups, and volunteers in project planning and preparation
Identified and approved tree plantation sites, including:
Mosque courtyards
School premises
Roadside and community public areas
Coordinated with local leaders to ensure community ownership and sustainability
Upcoming Activities (Next Phase)
In the upcoming phase, the project will focus on implementation and sustainability:
Launching tree plantation activities with volunteers and school children
Planting dozens of saplings across selected sites
Establishing a monitoring and watering plan to ensure healthy plant growth
Encouraging schools and communities to take responsibility for ongoing care
Impact Outlook
Once implemented, the project is expected to:
Improve local environmental conditions
Promote environmental awareness among children and youth
Strengthen community engagement in climate-positive actions
Contribute to long-term ecological resilience
