The Home has the capacity to provide housing to 30 older women with the ideal of giving a dignified old age providing quality of life. Through different services such as housing and food. All the nutrition provided is within the recommendations of a nutrition plan. We perform fun activities to keep them active and functional; Medical assistance and physiotherapy. We give them love and the feeling of belonging to a big family. We are located in Bogota, Colombia. All for a happy old age!
We are a foundation that seeks to provide support, comfort and benefits to 30 older women in order to make their old age a pleasant moment. We have been doing this work in Bogota for 38 years. However, our residents are from other places in Colombia. We look forward to expanding our help to more women with the help of those who wish to donate in our project.
Our population is between 65 and 104 years old living in the gerontological home of Bogota Juan Pablo II. Some of the women do not have the financial support to pay for all their necessities such as food, toiletries, clothes and medicines. Upon receiving donations, we can improve their quality of life by offering them a good diet, keeping them in a dignified environment, and feeling like family. In addition to their contribution, we will make the women spend a happy old age.
The impact we want to generate in the lives of the elderly living in the home is that they feel useful for society. Helping them during the time they reside in the foundation to have a peaceful and happy life through their physical, emotional and social development. Our project's main objective is to ensure the care in terms of food and maintenance of the old women. The foundation has been operating in Colombia for 38 years and people who have passed through here have receive good treatment.
