Love One Teach One Foundation Inc. has embarked on a fundraising drive to get our Youth to give back to Community. Therefore, we are Launching "FOR GOODNESS SAKE CAMPAIGN" it is geared at assisting less fortunate families, volunteering their time in different activities such as painting of classrooms, planting of trees, fun day with the elderly around the island. Donations will go towards groceries, toiletries, school and cleaning supplies, transportation, clothing and purchase of materials.
We have seen a breakdown in society when comes to Volunteering, many young people and adults are not committed as before. Our plan is to get our Youth Group members and other youth from different Communities to volunteer and to teach them the skills they need to function effectively as part of the organization by creating a training plan.
To make a difference in people's lives. To develop themselves personally and boost their self esteem. Be more compassionate to others and to give our youth the opportunity to meet people. They will also gain a unique sense of purpose by serving those around them and it will manifests in other areas of their lives.
The project will benefit over 1000 people demonstrating the act of Volunteerism. They will also get a better idea of giving back to Community. Having a broad, open-minded perspective of the different walks of life around them which will help them to be an effective and empathetic citizen.
