Children > 5years, mothers and girls are more exposed and affected due to the present socio-political crisis in the North-West and South-West regions. This project strives to improve the living condition of 675 vulnerable (300 children > five years, 200 mothers with children under > 5years and girls of childbearing age) through the delivery of primary health services and the distribution of non-food items so as to meet their basic needs.
- The high rate of HIV/AIDS affecting young girls and mothers - Lack of health facilities operating in this area -High rate malnutrition of children under five years - Mostly young girls and women are mentally affected (traumatize) due to the crisis - Lack of basic needs like Non-Food Items
Upon project implementation, three mobile clinics chaired by a medical doctor will be established so as to deliver curative and preventive consultations to the targeted groups (mothers, children under five years and girls of childbearing), 400 mosquito nets with condoms will be distributed to the targeted beneficiaries in order to protect their themselves, their babies and the entire family from malaria and sexually transmissible infections and 375 NFI will also be distributed.
The living condition of the affected 675 targeted beneficiaries (> 5yrs, mothers with children >5yrs and girls of childbearing age) are improved. 375 beneficiaries (200 mothers with children under 5 years and 175 girls of childbearing) are assisted with basics non-food items and the health of the targeted beneficiaries and their communities are improved
