Pakistan was hit by the most devastating calamity in its history. Super floods submerged almost 33% of the country and infrastructural destruction of a mammoth scale was seen. The stagnant water and unsanitary living conditions were a breeding ground for many water borne diseases. The influx of adults and children with skin, gastro and eye related diseases increased manifolds as the living conditions of those affected continued to deteriorate. For all those affected by floods had to rebuild their lives, their health needed to be prioritized. LRBT played it’s part by conducting free medical relief camps throughout the country.
Knowing that you have our back we took upon the responsibility to serve the community beyond our scope of work and help our brothers and sisters whose lives were destroyed by the floods by providing free medical aid and medicines across the four provinces at approximately 50 locations. This initiative was the need of the hour in face of this calamity.
With the donations collected through the generous support of you we were able to conduct 4 medical camps at different locations and over 4000 patients were provided with medical relief including medicines. It all have been possible due to the support of donors.
