On behalf of JAAGO Foundation, we are delighted to share with you some of the activities that have taken place in the last three months at our schools.
Admission of New Students:
We have recently admitted 600 new students from the marginalised community into our reception class. These children come from underprivileged backgrounds, and their families cannot afford to provide them with quality education. However, with your help, we can change that. By sponsoring the education of these children, you can help provide them with the opportunity to learn and grow. This will break the cycle of poverty and improve their chances of a brighter future. Your contribution will not only benefit these children but will also have a positive impact on their families and their entire community. We urge you to consider becoming a sponsor and helping us make a difference in the lives of these deserving children.
Notebook Distribution at JAAGO Foundation schools:
Access to quality education is a fundamental right, and with the help of our generous donors and sponsors, we are one step closer to achieving our goal of providing every child with the opportunity to learn and grow. These notebooks will enhance their knowledge and boost their confidence to dream big and achieve their goals. They are the keys to unlocking a brighter future for our students!
Annual Sports Day at JAAGO Foundation Schools:
From relay races to tug-of-war, from sack races to spoon marble races, our students showed off their competitive spirit and sportsmanship on their Annual Sports Day. It is a day when students learn exemplary values like teamwork, perseverance, and fair play. And, of course, we can't forget the fun and laughter that came with dressing up in their favourite outfits!
International Mother Language Day 2023: Unleashing a world of linguistic diversity
Our students celebrated International Mother Language Day with a vibrant display of cultural programs and activities, paying tribute to the language martyrs who laid down their lives to preserve their mother tongues. From reciting poems to singing traditional songs and offering flowers, our students beautifully showcased the rich tapestry of languages and cultures that exist within our community. Together, let's cherish and celebrate the beauty of our native tongues!
Your contributions have significantly impacted our students' lives, and we are grateful for your continued support. We look forward to updating you on our progress in the months to come.
Nazia*, one of our grade five students, assists her teacher in the maths class. She loves participating in classroom activities and encourages her classmates to do so too. At JAAGO, our teachers effectively manage their classroom according to the lesson they’ve planned, accommodate their student's needs, and enhance their students' engagement to make the classroom more participatory and interactive. Teaching method such as class discussion involves the whole class's participation in raising questions and discussing the answer or solution. It creates more interaction between teachers and students.
Many students like Nazia are living everyday life since enrolling in our schools and getting the childhood they all deserve. With education, they all dream of conquering all their dreams. We are thankful to all our donors for staying with us. To help children in the future, please keep supporting them. With your donations for education, we dream about bringing a positive difference to this world.
Here are a few activities that took place recently in our schools:
Building Creativity & Problem-solving Skills with Recycled Objects
Using recycled objects to make crafts is a fun way to teach students about the benefits of recycling. Recently, with large cardboard boxes and papers, students made excellent playhouses. It enhanced their imaginative play and built creativity and problem-solving skills. Students enjoyed making these cute art projects and creating colourful decorations for their houses.
Encouraging Young Minds to be More Innovative & Resourceful in Modern Technology
JAAGO Foundation encourages young minds to be more innovative and resourceful in modern technology by organising science fairs. Participating in science fair projects helps create a feeling of confidence and competence among students and fosters a spirit of scientific inquiry. We believe the benefits of participating in after-school activities range from enhanced communication to new friendships to leadership training to greater personal or social awareness in our school.
Recently, 1044 students from 11 schools are preparing their projects to participate in the annual science fair. Students presented 137 projects on the school premises. It encouraged the students to explore the wonders of science. The selected projects will be shared in the annual science fair happening next month.

It has been over more than one and a half years since the pandemic was announced. This time last year, we were unsure of how the current pandemic would affect us. One year on, we have learnt a lot and are now confident that we can continue providing education to children as best as possible.
Due to the pandemic last year, the Bangladesh government shut down all education institutes on March 17, 2020. After 18 months, our students returned to the campus in a festive mood in September. The school authorities greeted the students with a warm welcome.
After successfully conducting digital classes, we are happy to resume our classes in 11 schools following strict & proper safety protocols and guidelines. We are delighted to see our schools lively again!
Our students from Reception to Kindergarten are still doing their classes online & through TelEd (Telephone Education) for their safety. The students of Class 1 to 4 are coming to the schools twice a week. Besides, the senior grade students from Class 5 to 10 regularly attend the schools at alternative times. Currently, around 2418 students from Class 1 to Class 10 are physically attending classes in our 11 branches on a scheduled basis. The rest of the students from Reception- KG is attending classes from home. We hope to see them on school campuses soon.
We cannot thank you and all our well-wishers enough for supporting us during these difficult times. It is your support that has kept us going. Thank you for giving these children access to education even in this crisis. But more children need your help. Only your generous support can help children not to drop out of school and continue learning.
Thank You Note
We wish to express our sincerest gratitude to the well-wishers and donors of this project. They allow children to receive a quality education and pave the way to bring about sustainable change within their communities, supporting the nation in the future. With your donations for education, we dream about bringing a positive difference to this world. We dream of a better community, a poverty-free country, a healthier nation, and a safe abode for all children. And your donations are going to be the first step towards bringing this positive change.
