This project will provide free obstetric ultrasound services to 3,000 pregnant women, helping them monitor fetal health, detect risks early, and receive timely care. Thousands of pregnant women in low-income communities lack access to basic antenatal care. Ultrasound scans are often too expensive, forcing women to go through pregnancy without knowing the condition of the baby or spotting dangers like ectopic pregnancy, fetal distress, or complications. This leads to preventable illness and maternal and newborn deaths.
We will deliver free ultrasound scans in underserved communities through mobile clinics and partner health centers. Each woman receives an obstetric scan, basic counseling, and referral for care when risks are detected. By removing financial and access barriers, we help women understand their pregnancy progress and take timely action to protect their health and their baby.
