In Nigeria, thousands of girls who are victims of child marriage are forced out of school, exposed to early pregnancy, poverty, and limited opportunities. This project will fully sponsor 5,000 of these girls for secondary education and 1,000 for university, giving them a chance to rebuild their lives, gain skills, and secure brighter futures.
Girls who are victims of child marriage in Nigeria are forced out of school, often becoming pregnant early and losing family and community support. Poverty prevents families from funding education after marriage, leaving girls with little hope of employment or independence. Without intervention, these girls remain trapped in cycles of poverty, early parenthood, and limited opportunities.
This project will fully sponsor 5,000 girls who are victims of child marriage to complete secondary education and support 1,000 to attend university. Sponsorship covers school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and mentorship. Removing financial and social barriers allows these girls to continue education, gain skills, and build independent, productive lives beyond the early limitations imposed by child marriage.
Educated girls who are survivors of child marriage gain economic independence and decision-making power over their lives. Supporting 6,000 girls will increase literacy, workforce participation, and leadership potential. Communities benefit as empowered women break cycles of early marriage and poverty, inspire future generations, and contribute positively to social and economic growth.
