Thank you so much for donating so generously to the Kimbilio Projecr 'From exploitation in Mines to a Hope Filled future'. We really appreciate your support and it enables us to make a real difference to the lives of street children in thye Congo.
Ian Harvey, the founding director of Kimbilio, has announced that we will be funding former street children in higher education. There are five students currently studying at the University in Lubumbashi that we now financially support and this will enable them to achieve their full potential. What a journey these children have been on, from living precariously on the streets to gaining a place at university, and this new venture shows the vision that Kimbilio has for the street children of the Congo. In return, the five students volunteer at the Day Centre each week where their experiences can be an inspiration to those they see.
