MARYPAT LOVE & CARE FOUNDATION empowers 100 skilled women in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. We have provided food and training to 300+ women. These 100 women are skilled in tailoring, hairdressing, and farming but need capital. $100 = 136,000 provides equipment, materials, and 2 months working capital for 1 woman. This helps her earn 80,000-150,000 monthly to support her family.
In Ebonyi State, Nigeria, hundreds of vulnerable women are unemployed, living in poverty, and struggling to feed their families. Without skills or startup capital, many mothers cannot afford school fees, food, or basic healthcare for their children. This leads to cycles of poverty, dependence, and poor health in the community. Women want to work but lack training and tools.
Empower 100 women by providing $100 = 136,000 in business capital each. This covers equipment, bulk materials, and 2 months working capital for businesses in tailoring, hairdressing, and agriculture. We will provide business mentorship for 6 months to ensure success. Women will earn income immediately to feed their children, pay school fees, and become financially independent.
This project will create 100 women-owned businesses in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Women will gain income to feed families, pay school fees, and improve healthcare. Children of empowered women stay in school longer. Long-term impact: reduced poverty, stronger families, and a community where women are leaders. Success with these 100 women will help us scale to 300 women next year.
