The project's aim is to provide connectivity to 100 children in vulnerability, Ecuadorian, refugees and migrants, from city and rural zones (border and other conflict zones) of Ecuador to allow them to continue their education in order to increase their possibilities for a better future and a positive integration to society, being able to pursue their dreams and grow with joy and hope.
According to the Ministry of Telecommunications of Ecuador, around 1 out of 3 million students from public schools do not have access to Internet since the pandemic began. In the case of the children beneficiaries from our programs in border and conflict zones, about 7 out of 10 of their parents can't afford paying a connectivity plan that allows their kids to continue their studies.
This project will provide connectivity plans to 100 children in vulnerability from border and conflict zones of Ecuador, allowing them to continue participating in FUDELA's educational programs during 6 consecutive months.
The project will educate 100 children mainly in values and life skills, improving their self-esteem, giving them tools for a positive integration to society and fostering their capacity to make their dreams come true. Moreover, this project contributes to the fulfillment of SDG 4.
