During this reporting period, our Food Program at Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico continued doing what matters most: making sure children and youth do not leave our Clubs hungry.
Across our 11 after-school service centers, we provide hot dinners and nutritious snacks to children and youth ages 6 to 18 every afternoon. For many of them, this meal is not just food—it is the last and most nutritious meal they will have that day.
As part of our Fiscal Year 2025–2026 programming, with data updated through January 2026, we have served 46,673 hot meals, reaching 9,905 children, youth, and community members across Puerto Rico. These meals help our participants stay focused, healthy, and ready to learn after a full school day.
The program operates daily between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., providing more than nourishment. It offers routine, stability, and peace of mind for families facing food insecurity, knowing their children are cared for in a safe and supportive environment.
Looking Ahead
As food costs continue to rise and the need remains constant, sustaining this program is more important than ever. Continued support allows us to keep showing up every afternoon with a warm meal and a safe place—so no child has to choose between hunger and hope.
Thank you for standing with our children and helping us fuel minds, strengthen futures, and ensure that no child leaves our Clubs hungry.
