Hi there,
Our teachers are some of the most inspiring individuals! Working tirelessly to educate 1020 children across Latin America, preparing them well for their future!
But sometimes, you just have to let your hair down...
Every year we celebrate Mothers Day in Itzapa, Guatemala but this year is was INCREDIBLE! Firstly, we enjoyed dances prepared and practices by each grade, the children did a spectacular job and they were dressed beautifully in traditional dress. We then played games and as the event came to a close…some surprise visitors arrived! Check out the video to see what the teacher’s did next!

A small performance by both the male and female teachers showcasing how vital our Mums are...and giving them a chance to let their hair down and have a laugh! It was hilarious and enjoyed by all the Mothers, staff and very much so by the teachers themselves...we haven't stopped talking about it since!
Special celebrations and normal school days are all part of a well-rounded education and are vital for these children. Thanks to you and your continued support through donations we can continue to make school great!
Next Wednesday, June 12, from 9am GlobalGiving is matching all donations to us at 50%. This means a donation of $10 would become $15 thanks to GlobalGiving. This is a fabulous opportunity for you to make your donation even BIGGER and have a BIGGER impact. I’ll send you a reminder just as the match funding starts but please, do consider making a donation that will give more than you expected!
Thank you
Sarah
