Our forty two local teachers we employ in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Perú have made such a huge difference this year to the children's education. By having our main teachers working alongside our reinforcement teachers no child is left behind. Exam results accross the board are statistically higher than 2014 and this is down to the hard work of our teachers. Final exams are due in Guatemala and they are on course to be the best ever. Honduras finishes at the end of November for the school year, along with Perú and Nicaragua though the teachers are optimistic for fantastic results. Ecuador has restarted the school year and our reinforcement teachers there are ready for the next cycle!
This year’s Annual Appeal is dedicated to our daily food and fruit program with the aim to provide now and sustainably in the future: how? For every $30 donated to this page one child will receive the daily food and fruit we provide each year and we will also plant a fruit tree which will continue giving in the future. Many thanks for your donations in advance and together we can sustain daily food for the children.
