Fund Cataract Surgery for 500 Elderly Nigerians

Thank you for your interest and care. No donations have been received yet, but our resolve remains strong. The people we plan to reach are elderly Nigerians who have lost their sight to cataracts and can no longer carry out simple daily tasks.

In many parts of Nigeria, blindness caused by cataracts is common among older adults, especially those living in villages. Most cannot afford surgery, so they continue to live in darkness, depending on their children or neighbors for every small movement. It is painful to see a grandmother unable to recognize her grandchildren or a father unable to walk to his farm.

This project will cover cataract surgeries, basic medications, and follow-up care for 500 elderly people who deserve to see again. The medical partners and hospitals are ready to begin once funds come in.
