Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in the Fund Life-Saving HIV & TB Research in Africa project. At this time, no donations have been received, and research activities have not yet begun.
Across Africa, HIV and tuberculosis continue to affect millions of people, placing pressure on families and health systems. Many communities still face delays in diagnosis, limited access to treatment, and gaps in prevention efforts. Without continued research, these challenges remain unresolved.
In many areas, weak laboratory capacity and limited data make it harder to track disease patterns or improve care methods. This slows progress and leaves many people without the support they need to manage or prevent these conditions.
This project is designed to support clinical and field research focused on improving how HIV and TB are prevented, diagnosed, and treated. It will fund laboratory work, data collection, and training for health personnel who are working directly with affected communities.
When this work begins, it will contribute to better understanding of both diseases and support improved care practices. Research findings can guide more effective responses and help reduce the spread of infection.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this important research can begin and contribute to better health across communities.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
