This project will assist victims and survivors of Gender Based Violence in South Africa by facilitating legal representation for them. #FundTheFight is a campaign to mobilize resources for mounting the fight against GBV on behalf of victims and survivors. Most victims/survivors don't report their cases for numerous reasons including, but no limited to, fear or secondary victimization by the courts and therefore there is a need for psychosocial as well as legal support.

Your support will ensure that women who reach out for our help, receive the necessary legal support including access to a feminist lawyer to guide and/or represent them where necessary. #FundTheFight so women can finally have access to justice.
Wise4Afrika would like funding to provide legal representation/support to the women & girls who are not able to afford legal assistance. We want to give a voice to the voice less. A lot of the victims of gender based violence come from impoverished areas and through our program we would like to educate women & girls on their rights and what legal action they can take.
This project will educate women on their legal rights. The project will also provide the victims with the courage and support to report the perpetrators. This will help end the scourge of gender based violence in communities and in homes.
