Here is a proofread version that keeps your message and urgency intact, while improving grammar, clarity, and impact:

Thank you for supporting the Future Bilingual Leaders Project!

Your charitable contributions are making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and in our community. With the $25,000 we raised in 2025, we awarded scholarships to 9 students for the 2026 school year.

Our 2026 fundraising objective is $75,000, which will allow us to sponsor 25 students in 2027. But given the devastating earthquake of August 10th, we cannot wait any longer.

Why? Because public schools have suffered significant structural damage and have been shut down for repairs. One particular school, the largest in the area, serves approximately 1,700 students and will likely have to be demolished.

We need to act now.

We are expediting our efforts to invite 50 students to join our school. We believe it is our responsibility to do our part. With only four months remaining in the school year, we must help find a safe and supportive educational home for as many displaced students as possible among the schools that remain operational, including ours.

We are prepared to absorb these students, but we also want to guarantee that we have the funding necessary to continue supporting them throughout 2027.

We are working in collaboration with other private schools, public schools, City Hall, and the Office of the Secretary of Education. Together, we will conduct a selection process to identify students who have demonstrated the strongest commitment to learning English, have financial need, and live closest to our school.

This is not a change in our objective, but rather an acceleration of our execution.

We need your support to ensure we can follow through on our commitment to support 50 students. These students must be selected as soon as possible to minimize the hardship they are currently experiencing. Some have even lost their homes.

We hope that, despite this difficult period, this opportunity will ultimately become a blessing for these young people.

Just because they lost their school does not mean they have to lose their education.

We hope you will remain part of the Future Bilingual Leaders Project until this important work is completed.
