Family festival: Empowering children and parents

We are grateful to everyone who has supported the "Family festival: Empowering children and parents" project so far. Thanks to the generosity of four donors, we have raised $160 toward our $10,000 fundraising goal. While these funds have not yet been allocated, every contribution brings us one step closer to making the festival a reality for children and parents in regional schools across Kazakhstan.

The Family Festival is designed to bring families together through interactive workshops, creative activities, guided discussions, and shared experiences. By creating a safe and engaging space for children aged 10-13 and their parents, we aim to encourage meaningful dialogue, strengthen emotional literacy and empathy, and help families build stronger relationships.

The photos shared on this report are from family festivals we organized previously. They are included to give you a better understanding of what the Family Festival looks like and the kind of atmosphere and activities families can expect.

As we continue fundraising, we are looking forward to organizing the festival and creating opportunities for children and parents to learn, reflect, and grow together. We believe that strong family connections and active parental involvement can play an important role in children's development, confidence, resilience, and future success.
