Even just 60 minutes a week in nature, significantly improves well being!
In these stressful times, the respite of nature is even more important than ever for those in need.
So far this year, we have already exceeded our nature programs, by more than the entirety of 2024! We are well on the way to reach our goal of 30% more programming!
We welcomed two new groups to our family of partner organizations: Kendall on the Hudson, serving seniors in assisted living; and Venture Together Kindness Club, serving adults on with developmental challenges making a positive impact on their community.
We have also added some wonderful new nature venues for educational enjoyment for our clients: The Hammond Museam and Japanese Stroll Garden, Lasdon Arboretum and Park, and Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary.
See what our clients say:
"Increased sense of peace, calmness, and increased socialization"
"Thank you so much for hosting such a thoughtful and rejuvenating outing. We are so grateful for the opportunity to give our participants meaningful time in nature-it truly makes a difference"
"It's calm and relaxing here"
