By Bonnie Robins | Director, Access Nature Project
Every year, in the Winter, we create a challenge for our clients, to spend time in nature, even in the coldest months.
The purpose of the challenge is to encourage snd support our participants to access the benefits of nature on their own. Our ultimate goal is self sufficiency, which when attained, creates a lifetime tool for wellbeing.
This year we hosted a digital nature photo show. Working with our partner organizations, we presented our clients with the opportunity to go outside and photograph the serene beauty of nature during the Winter months. The organization that submittted the most photo entries, would win a stipend, to spend on their own nature outing.
