Anawilundawa Bird Sanctuary is located in the Puttalam District in the North Western Province of Sri Lanka.The uniqueness close to three different ecosystems. Coastal, mangroves and freshwater tanks are one of the six Ramsar wetlands in Sri Lanka. Due to Increasing human activities that are harmful to the environment .As such,ecosystem is threatened with misuse.The goal of project is to empower youth volunteer through innovative conservation method & mitigate environmental threats in the Park
Anavilundawa National in Sri Lanka unique ecological background, it has become a nest and breeding ground for hundreds of birds. The region is currently heavily urbanized and industrialized. As a result of increasing human activities that are harmful to the environment, the ecosystem have been threatened with abuse. To enhance the environment and wildlife conservation by promoting inter-generational learning through sport & ICT based learning for young volunteers who love the park .
These voluntary conservation organizations have already played a large role in eliminating the threat of abuse to the ecosystem. These people who are well versed in the new generation are always accustomed to thinking about innovations . Accordingly, they will demand an environment conservation program based on innovative technologies. These initiatives will provide them with strengths and positive results for the ongoing conservation process.
These volunteer conservation organizations have already established a strong leadership to eliminate the threat of abuse caused by human activities that are harmful to the ecosystem. This will lead to strong opposition to environmental abuse by individuals or institutions. They will continue to seek innovation based environmental protection programs. As a result, these initiatives can continue to provide strengths and positive results for the ongoing conservation process.
