In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, we have launched a clean water distribution project focusing on the Jabalia, Al Tuffah and Beit Lahia areas. We have distributed dozens of water tankers so far and will continue to do so as the need continues. Each tanker contains 7,000 liters of clean water and provides basic water to families severely affected by the crisis.
In the North of Gaza, the ongoing conflict and lack of infrastructure has left many communities without access to clean water. This scarcity of clean water poses a significant public health risk, particularly for children and vulnerable populations, leading to the spread of waterborne diseases and exacerbating existing health problems.
Our project focuses on delivering clean water to the most affected areas in North Gaza. Each tanker carries 7,000 liters of clean water, enough to serve 350 families. With an average of 5 people per family, each tanker benefits approximately 1,750 individuals. By ensuring access to clean water, we are directly addressing the immediate health needs of these communities, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases, and supporting the overall well-being of the population.
Access to clean water is a basic human right and a critical element of public health. By providing reliable access to clean water, we are helping to improve the health outcomes of these communities, reduce the burden of disease and promote stability in the region. In the long term, this project will help contribute to population resilience.
