The Gaza Clean Water Project meets the critical need for clean water in the Jabalia, Al Tuffah and Beit Lahia areas in northern Gaza. Since its inception, the project has distributed dozens of water tankers, directly benefiting families severely affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis. This effort is ongoing as the need for clean water continues to increase due to the challenging conditions in the region.
To date, we have successfully delivered clean water to hundreds of families in the targeted areas. Each tanker, containing 7,000 liters of water, supports the needs of approximately 350 families, totaling around 1,750 individuals per distribution.
By providing reliable access to clean water, the project has helped reduce the risk of waterborne diseases, particularly among children and other vulnerable groups.
The ongoing conflict and lack of infrastructure in Gaza continue to leave communities without access to clean water. This scarcity severely impacts public health, particularly for children, who are more vulnerable to waterborne diseases. Additionally the population density in North Gaza amplifies the demand for clean water, making our efforts vital for sustaining health and well-being.
This project continues to be an important support for families in Gaza. Your contributions help sustain and expand clean water access for thousands of people. We aim to continue and expand the project by collaborating with local organizations to meet the growing need. Together, we can ensure that this basic human right is met for those most in need.
