Day by day, access to clean drinking water in Gaza is becoming increasingly difficult. In the northern regions, thousands of families have become entirely dependent on external distributions due to the collapse of infrastructure, the ongoing blockade, and escalating violence. This reality does not only complicate daily life; it directly threatens public health and strips people of their fundamental right to live with dignity.
About the Project
Through the Gaza Clean Water Project, we deliver safe drinking water to families via 7,000-liter tankers. A single distribution provides enough water for around 350 families (1,750 people). With this support, families are able to meet their most essential needs: drinking water, food preparation, and hygiene.
Voices from the Field
At the distribution points, what we see most often on people’s faces is a fragile sense of relief and safety. For children, clean water means protection against disease; for families, it means holding on to life under impossible conditions.
What We Have Achieved So Far
Since the beginning of the project, we have reached thousands of people.
Distributions have become a lifeline for families with no alternative water sources.
The project has safeguarded children and vulnerable groups by reducing the risk of waterborne diseases.
Ongoing Needs
As the crisis deepens, the need for safe water grows. Gaza’s water and sanitation infrastructure has collapsed, and no long-term system can be established under current restrictions. In these circumstances, every single distribution is not just helpful—it is life-saving.
Our Call
This project does not exist to provide convenience or privilege. It exists to defend and secure access to clean water as a fundamental human right. Thanks to the solidarity of our supporters, we have reached thousands—but the need remains urgent and continues to expand.
Clean water is not a luxury; it is the essence of life.
Together, we can stand with families in Gaza and ensure that more people each day gain access to this most basic requirement for survival.
