Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP) successfully distributed 500 hot meals to displaced families and individuals at Asmaa Shelter in the North Gaza Strip, providing much-needed nourishment during an ongoing humanitarian crisis.
This food assistance initiative is part of AKFP’s continued emergency response to support vulnerable Palestinian families affected by conflict, displacement, and severe food shortages.
Story / Update
The humanitarian situation in the North Gaza Strip remains extremely critical, with thousands of families taking refuge in temporary shelters amid shortages of food, clean water, and basic services. Many displaced individuals—especially children, women, and the elderly—are struggling to access regular, nutritious meals.
On 3rd January 2026, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, with the support of AKFP, organized the distribution of 500 freshly prepared hot meals at Asmaa Shelter. These meals provided immediate relief, helping families regain strength and maintain basic nutrition during a time of uncertainty and hardship.
The warm meals were distributed in an organized and dignified manner, ensuring that the most vulnerable individuals were prioritized. Beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation for this timely support, sharing that a single hot meal can make a meaningful difference in their daily survival.
